Hi. welcome back to our series about how to use your Google ads account. Properly and optimizing it. This is the second video, and this is going to be about how to structure and set up your Google ads campaign. Campaigns are the upper level of ads and similar to. Many other advertising platforms.
Campaigns have goals, so we need to find the correct campaign goal or campaign type. According to our. Own goal with this campaign, we might look for impressions. We might look for getting traffic to our landing page or to our website. or obviously we might would like to get more leads or more conversions from our website.
So these are the main three goals for. Campaign structures or campaign setups. And there are other combined. Tactics and strategies, depending on the Google's changes. But these three main goals are similar. In campaigns. Basically what are they is. So the first type impressions type of campaigns are obviously getting for more impressions and you are going to be billed for thousand impressions.
And it depends on your targeting. however, this type of campaign type is one of the lowest cost campaign types. And the main idea with this is to get as much as impressions within your budget. The second type of campaigns. Which I mentioned is to get traffic to your website or landing page.
And in that strategy, in that campaign type. Google will try to find. Users, according to your targeting. Who. Are more inclined to click on the admin, visit. The website, instead just looking into it or just scroll above or like download. With this type of campaign, you will definitely get more traffic and more clicks.
If this is the thing that you would like to do. And the last one is to get conversions, Is that you pick, you decide a specific goal. You will set up conversion tracking on your Google ads account and. You pick this specific goal. tell. In the settings that you would like to have more of this, it might be telephone calls. It might be web form.
Submissions. It might be just maybe click to a button, whatever your goal from your website, business goal That is this is it. You tell Google that you would like to have more of this. And Google we'll find we'll try to find people who would do this action on your website. Maybe call you or fill out the web form.
So this is the third time. Anyway let's make a quick recap. So the first thing you have to decide is what do you want from your campaign? Impressions. Traffic or conversions. So let's check the campaign types and we have the button here when you are in overview section and you can click on new campaign and you will see.
The selector here. Okay. This is a fairly new interface, like for a year or more, Google is letting us. decide in more granular level. Trying to help us to understand the main goals. But for example, we can. Spot the second type here, website traffic, obviously this is getting more traffic to your website.
And the third type, which I mentioned previously is this one. So this will get you leads or sales is one of the goal-oriented campaigns. And obviously we can have this one. So this is this, and this one is more on impressions. And this, if, of course, if you have mobile app to promote, you will use this type and you can promote for local store visits or you can just go manual.
