Results | Statistics / Product - Full life cycle and impact category

Hi there I'm Luc. And today I'm going to show you how to get the most valuable information out of Ecochain: by viewing the results of your life cycle assessments. This video is meant for beginning users that want to read results out of the system.

How do you get to the results page? So from the start screen, navigate to the top navigation bar.

Click on results and then go to statistics. Here, you can see that we have several options to view your life cycle assessment results. For example: on a company level, on a scope level, on a process level, on a product level and on a material level. We also have the ability to show your results on a subsidiary level. And have Them visually displayed in an impact flow. And last but not least, you can also have an overview of your results using the value impact overview.

Let's start with my favorite page: statistics - and then results, on a product level.

So, what do we see here? As mentioned in the previous videos, we are looking at a concrete plant. So a production facility that makes different types of concrete mixtures.

Why is this relevant? Life cycle assessment is mainly being asked from construction companies within the Netherlands. So in this tutorial, we are looking at a construction company that is making concrete mixes. This is the product page. And as you can see, we already have some nice results available.

So, how do you navigate on this page? There are several options that you can look at. The first thing you would like to do is to have the right impact category in which you want to view the results of your product LCA's.

In this example, we are using the environmental cost indicator, but, you can also choose to have a look at for example global warming potential.

You just saw that the results actually changed. And that the numbers and values on the Y axis changed from euros to kilograms of CO2 equivalent.

In addition, you can select in the result statistics product page. To look to cradle-to-gate results or look at full lifecycle results.
