Hi, I'm Ben Eubanks, chief research officer at lighthouse research and advisory, and a founder of the tech awards and our research practice here at lighthouse. One of the things that we get to do is we talk to over 300 vendors a year across the HR technology landscape that's training development, employee engagement, and experience.
Compensation wellness recognition, benefits, everything that you can imagine. And probably some that would actually surprise you. And one of the things that consistently comes up in those conversations is these companies want to know how do we stand out from the crowd that 300 counties we've talked to.
It's just a sliver of the greater number of organizations that are trying to serve in that capacity. As we're talking to these companies, one of the things that we keep hearing is how do we stand. At the same time we hear from the buyer community that we interact with on a regular basis about the difficulties to try to sift through and find who are the high quality providers out there that are gonna help them solve their problems.
That's where the HR tech awards came from. We set this program up to allow vendors to provide us with a way to vet some of the things that. To look at their technology to evaluate them on their differentiators and the things that they're doing to try to solve problems and create value for their clients.
We've heard from many buyers in the last year, they're using the HR tech awards program as a signal for who they should be, including in their vetting processes. When they're looking for a new piece of technology, this gives them some measure of comfort because we had the expertise, we have the credibility and we have the insight to look at these providers.

We have an independent panel of judges reviewing the injuries we're doing this to make sure we understand the value that each of these companies is bringing to the workforce and to the companies that they serve, the HR, the talent learning leaders out there who are struggling every day
we're hearing more and more from those leaders that the technologies are using artists happening over here in a separate silo. These technologies are enabling them as a true partnership to create value for the business and the candidates and the workforce that they are. That was when we started the HR tech awards program.
