Alright, let's just get ourselves adjusted here.

Get ready for the show.

How you doing friends? Ernie here. And this is the zero days to expiration podcast, episode number 80 80. I love those round numbers. And we've been slow at pushing the podcast out this week. Been incredibly busy. It's been a remarkable week in the markets. That's for sure. Lots of excitement.

Lots of great. Oh, geez. Let me, let me rephrase that.

Lots of impactful things happening out in the geopolitical world, the stream and. Of course it's affected the market. It has affected our trading. It has presented us with extra ordinary opportunity in the form of volatility. Volatility is really the lifeblood of trading.

And if you're a trader or particularly a day trader you know that well, this episode, I'm going to make the case for why trading. The zero D T E options on the S and P is something that you would want to consider as a day trader. So when I define day trading, or when I'm addressing day trading, I'm talking about a wide range of different.

Strategies, asset types, methodologies, but they all come down to one thing you're trading one day, you're in, you commit to that one day, you commit capital. And by the end of the day, you take that capital out. So there's no overnight risk. You know, this whole thing about overnight risk. I don't really buy it.

Studies have shown that holding overnight is actually on average, less risky and more profitable in the long run. But some people have this idea that holding overnight, mostly because they're really unsure about their positions or unsure about their strategy. That they don't want to hold overnight.

They feel like there's additional risk, but this is day trading in that day, out that day. And hopefully coming out on the positive side with a profit. Now, as a day trader in general, there've been lots of studies that have shown that most day traders are not successful. That most strategies do not have any edge and most day traders have no idea.
