Hi! Today. I'd like to show you a prototype of our new confluence app. And the idea of this video is to collect as much feedback as possible from potential customers. So , we can work your ideas, thoughts, and possible improvements into the final product.
Now what's the new app about. Well, it is made for content managers and knowledge managers. And should help them to evaluate. How is the content quality? Of my pages of Confluence in general. So how can they make sure that the content is really valuable for readers?
Now this app provides surveys, which can be embedded on Confluence pages via a macro, so readers can rate the content. And can provide feedback, how to improve the content.
And how this now works, we will see now in the demo.
Now here we see a confluence page and we see the survey or the poll that is displayed to the user, to the reader of the page. In this example, it says, please rate the content on this page. And the user can then decide, maybe to give it four out of five stars. And can then provide a short comment or feedback
and submit the feedback. Now, surveys can be anonymous or not. In this case, the survey is not anonymous. So this, uh, I will show you what this means in a minute. But the user can now submit the feedback.
Now that's kind of the, um, reader perspective of the Confluence pages. We now look at the management perspective.
Now let's look in the app and how to create a survey. How does this look like?
So, as you can see here, you can create surveys within the app and we have already created some surveys. So we see a list of already created surveys here. Now for each server, you see its name, you see the current status, like is the survey active? Is this currently running? Is it pending? Which means it's already planned, but hasn't been started yet.
Or is it expired? So it is expired on a specific date. It's currently no longer active. You see the number of pages contained that take part within that survey. And you see the total number of ratings that have been collected. So in this example, it's 111 ratings have been collected. Four. Um, 20 pages that take part in the documentation survey.
