Hello Renovo Friends, this is Kelli, and today I'm here with Dr. Audrey Turbeville. Audrey, thank you so much for being with us.
Hey, thanks for having us again. I really love this product. Love doing things with y'all.
Oh, well we love to interview you. You are so fun. You're fun to watch. We love seeing you, your team out there, just in the trenches, having fun while you're helping the animals.
Yes, we try. We try to have fun. I mean, work's no fun anyway, but you better make the best of it.
I agree. Well, you're, you seem to be doing that. So you're at Top Gun Veterinary and you are in South Carolina. You have a new facility, which we're so excited and we know you've got lots of plans for things to come. Give us an idea of something that's coming up for you.
So right now we've been doing a lot of lameness things and we are wanting to do, shoot a lot of venograms, which we want to incorporate that with Renovo and seeing if, they have limited blood supply on the foot, which can cause a lot of problems in growing the foot or it can make sure if the foot won't grow. So we're trying to see about hopefully getting paired up with Renovo. And trying to do that, growing and helping the blood vessels to grow better.
We've been doing a lot of things as far as suspensory ligaments, tears in ligaments so we've been doing a lot of those and having some great results. Really good results with that.
Well, that's so great. We're, excited to hear more about it. You really have been a pioneer of sorts, entrusting this Renovo product, even though it's been in over 12,000 horses. You have really been just sort of leading the way and trying it in different cases. Can you share an example with us there?
Well, there was one case that we did for care, Tinnitus on an eye. Nobody has done, I don't think anybody did anything with that. So we, stuck it in there and I injected it, Sub Conjunctively and then added it topically and then within I went and rechecked it about three weeks ago, cuz that was the earliest I could get back, and it's fine. And then that was a couple months ago, and then I actually went back, injected his hocks with Renovo as a prevention, because he's a, I think he was a 10 year old and she was fixing to really start working him heavy. So she wanted to do a prevention, which I love doing Renovo, more so as a prevention than your H A and your steroids because if we can stay away from the steroids this would be great. It's, so much better than injecting steroids every time we turn around.
So I went back and did his hocks for that and so we stained the eye to double check it. No stain uptake on was over the moon. Still excited. The horse has done really great. No draining, no anything, so she was really, impressed and really happy with the product.
